SF’s vision is a society that takes its time to give worthy and honest caring for elderly people. A society that creates the best possible conditions for the public elementary school in order for children’s learning to be safe and good.
Capitalism creates great social and economical inequalities that are permanently shifting faces. The welfare system should constantly be renewed in order to bridge the differences.
The educational system must secure a fair chance for everyone. It is unacceptable that especially the children of the most badly situated families often are the ones to be left behind without qualifying education.
People who are not taking part in the work life must to a far greater extent be able to create a meaningful life based on a social network. That is why SF puts crucial weight on opportunities of self-expression in the housing areas, possibilities for all to take part in the life of local schools and institutions, voluntary social work, cultural activities, etc.
Finally it is decisive that everyone – including those who are not work active – has reasonable
economic conditions. This is both in order to secure everyone a fair share of the wealth of society and because some economic freedom in practice is a precondition for participation in the life of the community.
That is why SF wants a strengthened economic redistribution through a fundamental reform and simplification of the taxation system with reductions in the income taxes for low and middle income groups. Furthermore consumption of resources and real property should be harder taxed than today.
